History
Tignanello broke tradition in the 1970s as the first Italian wine aged in barrique with a Sangiovese‑Cabernet blend. The 1998 vintage reflects the Chianti Classico terroir through steel fermentation, barrique malolactic, and approximately 12–14 months barrel aging.

Vinification
