History
Cantine di Nessuno was created on Mount Etna with a focus on heroic viticulture and the native grape varieties of this extraordinary volcanic territory. Its high-altitude vineyards produce traditional Etna wines alongside single-contrada selections, reserves and Traditional Method sparkling wines. The name Nenti means “nothing” in Sicilian and was chosen to evoke the purity of the wine. Together with Nuddu, meaning “nobody”, it forms a playful reference to the humility of those working to achieve a rewarding result.
Grape variety
80% Carricante, 20% Catarratto.
Vinification
The grapes come from the south-eastern slopes of Mount Etna, specifically the Monte Ilice, Carpene and Monte Gorna vineyards. Following vinification, Nenti 2021 matures for 12 months in stainless steel followed by a further 12 months in bottle, preserving freshness and aromatic precision while developing greater harmony and complexity.

Tasting notes
Straw yellow in colour. The bouquet reveals white peach, flowers, citrus, pineapple and banana, complemented by hints of broom, almond and distinctive volcanic minerality. The palate is fresh, savoury and vibrant, with good texture, pronounced mineral character and a persistent finish.
Food pairings
Excellent with seafood starters and crudo, shellfish, seafood pasta, grilled or baked fish and vegetable dishes. Its freshness and saline character also make it an excellent partner for sushi, fresh cheeses and Mediterranean dishes featuring aromatic herbs.
