History
Cantina Giuseppe Cortese is a historic family estate located near Barbaresco in the Langhe region, dedicated for decades to Nebbiolo and terroir-driven wines. The Langhe Nebbiolo is crafted from younger vineyards or less exclusive sites, with winemaking and ageing aimed at preserving fruit freshness, typicality and graceful elegance, and the 2023 vintage continues this philosophy.

Vinification
The grapes undergo careful vinification: about 12 months ageing in Slavonian oak casks, followed by six months of bottle ageing prior to release.

Tasting notes
Bright garnet red colour. Aromas of red cherry, raspberry, violet, rose petal and subtle spice. On the palate it is clean, fresh, with well-integrated tannins, crisp acidity giving lift and a refined finish that invites the next sip.
Food pairings
Perfect with flavourful first courses (such as mushroom risotto or richly sauced pasta), red meats that are lean to medium in fat, light game and aged cheeses. Also excellent for mindful sipping, to enjoy its finesse and sense of place.
