History
Artevermouth was created as a natural evolution of the journey begun by Ginarte, the Italian gin brand that made the connection between art and distillation its defining feature. The project includes two interpretations of vermouth, Artebianco and Arterosso, both designed to celebrate the Italian tradition of aromatised wines through a contemporary perspective. At the heart of the project lies a strong connection with Tuscany and Tenuta degli Dei, located in Panzano in Chianti, an area renowned for its winemaking heritage. Careful botanical selection, balanced infusions and attention to aesthetics result in products designed for both sipping and mixology. Arterosso is the more intense and spicy expression of the range, distinguished by its bold personality and remarkable versatility.
Botanicals
Wormwood, mountain mint, sweet orange, cinchona and aromatic spices.
Vinification
Arterosso is made from a base of Italian wine, reflecting its connection with Tuscan winemaking traditions, which is subsequently aromatised with carefully selected botanical extracts and spices. The recipe focuses on achieving harmony between sweet, herbal and bitter elements, highlighting orange, wormwood, mint and cinchona. The addition of cereal-based alcohol and sugar contributes to the vermouth’s structure and distinctive character. The result is an intensely aromatic yet balanced vermouth, designed to retain its personality even when used in complex cocktails.
Alcohol content

Tasting notes
Intense, bright and inviting red colour. The nose reveals a rich and enveloping aromatic profile, with warm spices, sweet orange peel and fresh herbal notes of mint and wormwood. Elegant woody and bitter nuances of cinchona emerge in the background. On the palate, it is smooth and aromatic, with an initial sweetness gradually balanced by herbal and spicy elements. The finish is dry, harmonious and pleasantly bitter, with lingering flavours that invite another sip.
Food pairings
Perfect as an aperitif, served neat and chilled or over ice with a twist of orange peel. Particularly well suited to classic cocktails such as the Negroni, Americano and Vermouth & Soda, where it adds aromatic depth and a pleasant bitter character. At the table, it pairs beautifully with olives, charcuterie, aged cheeses, nuts and savoury appetisers. It is also an interesting after-dinner choice alongside dark chocolate and desserts featuring spicy or citrus notes.
