History
In 1991, Vittorio Fiore and his wife Adriana Assjè di Marcorà became owners of Podere Poggio Scalette in Greve in Chianti. Originally, the company included abandoned land and a functional cellar. In 1996, they acquired an adjacent property with further buildings, bringing the company area to about 40 hectares, including vineyards, olive groves, arable land and woods.
The management of the company is entrusted to his son Jurij, a winemaker graduated in Burgundy, under the supervision of Vittorio Fiore. Alessandro, the other son, takes care of foreign commercial activities, while the Italian market is managed directly from the corporate offices.
